It turns out that fans won’t have to wait long to see WWE Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez.
Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com is reporting that the match will indeed take place in the main event of the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. It was noted that Velasquez was in talks with Tony Khan and AEW but WWE offered big money to Velasquez for the match. As of this writing, it is unclear how long Velasquez has signed for.
This comes after Velasquez attacked Lesnar, who had beaten Kofi Kingston for the title, on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
WWE holds the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on Oct. 31, 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium.
