Ken Shamrock‘s in-ring return will take place at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view in Chicago.
The match was set up at last night’s IMPACT Wrestling TV tapings in Las Vegas, where Shamrock made his highly-publicized return to the company to confront Moose, his social media adversary as of late.
During the show, Shamrock went to the ring to cut a promo on Moose, but Moose was at Shamrock’s gym instead and proceeded to beat up some of the people at the gym. The match was then announced as taking place at Bound For Glory; Shamrock and Moose were previously advertised as appearing at a public press conference today in Las Vegas.
Shamrock and Moose will speak with the media at 12:00 p.m. PT this afternoon to address their feud; the press conference (open to the public) will be held at the Las Vegas Fight Shop (7400 S. Las Vegas Blvd.) in the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. Several former NFL players also will be attending through IMPACT Wrestling’s partnership with the NFL Alumni Association.
In the initial press release announcing the press conference, Executive Vice President of IMPACT Wrestling Scott D’Amore said the company is “excited to welcome back one of our original competitors.” He added, “Ken Shamrock is a huge part of our history. We all look forward to seeing what happens when this combat sports legend steps back into an IMPACT Wrestling ring.”
