Guerrillas of Destiny were set to face Chaos members Tomohiro Ishii and Yoshi-Hashi at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Sept. 15 Destruction in Beppu event in a non-title match, but that has changed. On Wednesday’s card at Korakuen Hall, the two members of GOD attacked Yoshi-Hashi after losing a six-man tag. Ishii managed to save his partner and the two posed with the tag belts afterward. As a result, their upcoming match will be a title bout.
The change was announced on NJPW’s official site. Destruction in Beppu is headlined by a British Heavyweight Championship bout between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Zack Sabre Jr. It also features two Young Lion Cup matches.
