AEW World Championship Has Been Found By Tallahassee Police

UPDATE: It was found on the side of the road.

The AEW World Championship has been found by the Tallahassee (Fla.) Police Department.

News broke on Tuesday afternoon that the title belt went missing after a limo dropped off Chris Jericho at a Longhorn Steakhouse to eat. When he returned in order to go to the airport, the title belt was missing and an investigation was started.

Things got weird this morning as Tallahassee police shared a photo on Facebook saying they found the title. This led to them deleting the post just minutes later only to say that they can’t confirm the belt was found. They would also delete the post.

“Chris Jericho we have something that belongs to you,” TPD posted on Facebook. “Celebrate with #ALittleBitOfTheBubbly (responsibly of course)! More information to follow. #foundit #championshipbelt.”

The AEW Twitter account thanked the police for their efforts on Twitter.
