The Miz faced Cesaro on WWE RAW this week. Recently, the Miz has been in a rivalry with WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn. The A-Lister will challenge for the title at WWE Clash of Champions. The Miz defeated Cesaro and earned some much-needed momentum.

Cesaro immediately floored the Miz with some uppercuts and dominated the match early on. The Miz gained momentum with a neckbreaker and some kicks. Another uppercut dropped the Miz for a near fall. The Swiss Superman superplexed the Miz from the apron into the ring. A snap DDT gave Miz a near fall. Cesaro caught the Miz with another uppercut but the A-Lister exchanged pin attempts with the Swiss Superman. The Miz pinned Cesaro with the Skull Crushing Finale.
