Mark Henry Discusses Why Pac Shouldn’t Be Counted Out Against Kenny Omega

With Jon Moxley out of his match at the upcoming AEW All Out due to an MRSA infection, Pac has been announced as his replacement to take on Kenny Omega. While some might not be happy with the change, Bully Ray and Mark Henry both think that Pac will be ready to show off a new side. Speaking on SiriusXM’s Busted Open radio, the duo discussed why they like Pac so much, with Henry immediately noting that his attitude is key.

“The reason that I’m so high on him is when he was with the WWE, I was one of his mentors, and we talked about psychology and how you’re perceived, and the perception that he wanted to get across, was that his whole life he’s been that height, and people always look down on him,” he said. “And the last thing that he wanted to portray is Mighty Mouse. And now he gets picked up by AEW, you expect him to be able to live the dream that he really wants to live, so I’m looking forward to seeing him get that opportunity, and I don’t know if Kenny is up to that task, because this is a guy that’s got everything to prove.”

Bully Ray went on to say that he believes Pac will be more of an aggressive opponent than Moxley would be, precisely because of how much he has to prove. “Just like you said, he is going to be raring to go.” Ray said.

Henry also said that he believes Pac is a “legitimate, championship caliber” superstar, and has been since the days of the WWE. “Now, he’s at AEW where he’s gonna shine, and if Kenny Omega doesn’t keep his eye on the prize and not focus on the fact that Pac is a dangerous human being, Kenny might not come out of that match the same.”
