Ring Of Honor Returning To New Orleans For No. 1 Contender Tournament

Ring of Honor is headed back to New Orleans, as the company has announced that it will be hosting Glory By Honor in the city at its UNO Lakefront Arena on October 12. The event will not only be a big one because of where it is, but it’ll also be where the semifinals and finals of the star-studded No. 1 contender tournament takes place.

The winner of this tournament will be the challenger for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle, so the stakes are extremely high. Currently, Matt Tavin holds the belt, and is looking ready to defend it against anyone. Final Battle will take place on December 13 in Baltimore, in what is promising to be another extremely star-studded event.

Tickets for the event go on sale next month for HonorClub members, on Wednesday, September 4 at 10 am CST. For general public, fans can expect to see tickets go live on Friday, September 6 at 10 am CST. Competitors for the upcoming tournament will be announced tomorrow and Friday, so we’ll know very soon just who will be competing for the chance to go after the championship.
