Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer gives further details in regards to Tony Schiavone reaching a deal with AEW and how the famed broadcaster had another interested party as well.
News broke yesterday of Schiavone’s All Elite agreement and according to Meltzer on this morning’s “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Schiavone has signed a deal with the company, but will also continue his work with MLW (as PWInsider previously reported). Meltzer also mentions that WWE did reach out to discussion a deal with Schiavone in hopes to swipe the broadcaster away from the company’s new competitor.
