Roman Reigns Defeats Dolph Ziggler In Competitive RAW Opener

Roman Reigns kicked off the show on RAW this week; the Big Dog was in action against Dolph Ziggler. Reigns took a brief break from the current mystery that’s dominating his life and found himself in a competitive match with the Showoff. Reigns won a hard-fought match with a Spear.

Before the match, Ziggler grabbed a microphone and said he doesn’t understand why Reigns gets all the attention. Ziggler talked about his recent struggles and embarrassments. He dropped Reigns with a superkick and Reigns slowly got back to his feet. Once the bell rang, the Big Dog briefly took control but Ziggler dropped him with a Zig Zag on the floor. Ziggler maintained control but Reigns persevered and floored the Showoff with a clothesline. Ziggler almost rolled Reigns up after he countered a Superman Punch and a DDT nearly put the Big Dog down. Another Zig Zag nearly gave Ziggler the victory. Reigns nailed Ziggler with a Superman Punch for another near fall. Ziggler countered a Spear into a Fameasser for another near fall.

Finally, Reigns floored Ziggler with a Spear for the win.
