WWE legend Kurt Angle recently spoke with Ariel Helwani on ESPN about UFC fighter Colby Covington using his entrance music at an event. Covington is seen as one of the most disliked fighters in the UFC right now.
When asked how he felt about Covington using the entrance theme, Angle said, “Before he did it, he had Bobby Lashley contact me. Bobby called me and said Colby wanted to use my entrance music to come out to his fight. He wanted the fans to chant ‘You Suck’. I said ‘It’s all his, he can have it man’. God bless him.”
Angle was asked how he feels about the nuclear heat Covington is getting right now and Angle said, “I think its extraordinary. I think he has something that nobody else has. He understands the entertainment factor of it. Obviously we are talking about a real sport but you have to add a little bit of entertainment to it. He has that mind for it just like Conor McGregor.”
