WWE superstar and celebrity Ronda Rousey has been revealed as a recurring character of the upcoming season of the FOX TV show ‘9-1-1’ as reported by Deadline. Rousey will cast as Lena Bosko, a stoic and fearless member of the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 136.
The show centers around intense experiences of police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers who are involved in dramatic situations. Rousey has previous acting experience as she was in STX’s feature Mile 22. The season premieres at 8PM EST Monday, September 23.
This is obviously interesting news given that Rousey is currently signed to the WWE where she performs on WWE RAW with the USA Network. FOX is set to begin airing SmackDown Live every Friday night beginning on October 4.
