Tonight’s 205 Live was a big one, as it featured a main event that saw Drew Gulak and Oney Lorcan once again taking each other on in a WWE Cruiserweight Championship match. After Gulak retained his title on Sunday night at SummerSlam, Lorcan is ready to try again to take him down.
Check out below for the full results from tonight’s 205 Live:
Akira Tozawa defeats Jack Gallagher via pinfall
This one ended in a bit of a controversial finish. Tozawa ended up landing a diving senton splash from the top rope, and had Gallagher down for the count. However, as the referee began counting, he missed Gallagher getting his foot on the ropes, and crowned Tozawa the winner regardless.
Humberto Carrillo & Lucha House Party defeat Ariya Daivari & Singh Brothers via pinfall
This one was a hectic match, with Lince Dorado of the Lucha House Party being the deciding factor in the match. Towards the end, he landed a shooting star press on a Singh brother, and that was enough for Humberto and the Lucha House Party to party the night away with a win.
Drew Gulak defeats Oney Lorcan via submission
In another incredible match between these two superstars, it was Gulak who was able to retain his WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Towards the end of the match, Gulak locked in the Gu-Lock onto Lorcan, and was able to force Lorcan to give up, with Gulak notching another major victory en route to defending his title.
