Samoa Joe picked up a big victory over Kevin Owens during tonight’s SmackDown Live thanks to Elias, who jumped in to help out after Owens assaulted him during last weekend’s SummerSlam. In a match that Owens seemed seconds away from winning, Elias – dressed in a referee shirt – made his way into the ring. Unable to do anything for fear of financial consequences, Samoa Joe quickly wrapped up Owens, who was quickly counted out by Elias. The loss left Owens frustrated in the ring, and Elias running out of the ring and up the ramp before Owens could do anything else.
