Seth Rollins Slays The Beast Again, Wins Universal Championship At WWE SummerSlam

At WWE SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar defended the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins. Lesnar has brutally assaulted Rollins on two consecutive RAWs and the Beast Incarnate has dominated the rivalry since he won the title at Extreme Rules. Lesnar dominated stretches of the match but Rollins persevered and beat the Beast to regain the WWE Universal Championship.

Lesnar dominated Rollins early on and attacked his injured ribs. Rollins hit the champion with a kick, countered a German suplex and hit a Curb Stomp. Lesnar persevered and dropped Rollins with an F5. The Beast Incarnate targeted the challenger’s ribs again and suplexed him around the ring. Rollins kept fighting and hit the champion with a springboard knee to the head. Lesnar dropped Rollins on his head with another suplex. Rollins dodged a charging Lesnar and sent him shoulder-first into the ring post. Rollins hit two suicide dives but Lesnar caught him on the third attempt and drove him into the ring post. The challenger hit a Frog Splash through an announce table. Rollins hit another Frog Splash in the ring and hit another Curb Stomp for a near fall. Lesnar countered another Curb Stomp but Rollins reversed an F5 and hit a Curb Stomp for the win.
