Highlights From Becky Lynch’s Summerslam Q&A Session

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch participated in a Q&A session for platinum ticket members ahead of Summerslam and you can see some of the highlights from that session below. Big thanks to twitter user @legitbecky for sharing online.

Q: Who was your first friend when you came to NXT?

Becky revealed that Charlotte Flair welcomed her with open arms and tried to make her feel comfortable. Becky also mentioned Charlotte is her favorite person to face in the ring.

Q: Have you been getting much sleep?

Becky said that she has not been sleeping very good because of her schedule. She has a Whoop that tracks her sleep and when it told her she got 5 hours and 46 minutes of sleep, it showed that it was 46% better than her average.

Q: Thoughts on being the cover star of WWE 2K20?

Becky revealed she was pulled into a room and told about it. She thought it was really cool to share it with Roman. The commercial made it all feel surreal to her.

Q: Did you ever think you would get to the point you are at now?

Becky talked about the frustrations she had because of thinking she was doing everything that could be done to climb the mountain. She mentioned MITB 2017 when there were numerous story options with James Ellsworth, Carmella, or Natalya. They told her they did not have anything for her after that PPV and she was very surprised.

Q: What advice do you have for those trying to get into the industry?

Becky believes now is the best time to get into wrestling because of the numerous opportunities. She said independent promotions need dedicated people and the magic formula is a combination hard work, fitness, mic skills, and in-ring ability.

Q: How do you approach feuds with newcomers like Lacey Evans versus experienced veterans like Natalya?

Becky said she tries to get the audience to know who the newcomers are because they are unfamiliar people. With experienced veterans, Becky said she tries to find a reason to make it personal so people want to see the match.

Q: Where do you see yourself after your wrestling days are over?

Becky admitted she was not good at very many things but thinks she is good at communicating and emoting. She wants to be involved with the creative team whether it be acting, writing, or helping talent.

Q: What do you think about All Elite Wrestling (AEW)?

Becky said competition is great. She finds it amusing when the fans are chanting AEW at WWE shows because they spent money to be at a WWE show. Everybody will get more involved in the business and strive to be better.

Q: Who would you like to have a program with after Natalya?

Becky said she will be ready for whoever comes next. She mentioned Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey but said if she had to choose she would pick Stephanie McMahon. Two other names that interested Becky were Bayley because of the SD Women’s Championship, and Sonya Deville because of her great potential.
