Matt Taven retained his Ring of Honor World Championship tonight in a huge ROH Summer Supercard match against Alex Shelley, but his celebration was quickly interrupted by a familiar face. After an incredible match that saw both Shelley and Taven giving their alls in order to win, it was Taken who came away at the end, with Taven hitting Shelley with the Climax to pin him for the victory. After the victory, Taven took the mic and berated the crowd, telling them that he plans on becoming the greatest Ring of Honor champion ever.

It was then that Rush made his entrance to the stage. With the crowd chanting for Rush and Taven watching on, Rush made his way into the ring and stared down Taven. Needless to say, it’s clear that Rush has ambitions to become the next Ring of Honor World Champion, and it’ll be interesting to see if he’s able to realize his goal.
