This Sunday’s SummerSlam card was already looking incredibly stacked, but tonight, we’ll get one more match for fans to sink their teeth into – and the match will be for the Cruiserweight Championship. The belt hasn’t received all too much attention when it comes to being on the main card of pay per views in the last few years, but even when they’ve been on the kickoff show, they’ve still been able to steal the show more often than not.
The current champion, Drew Gulak, has done a solid job of holding the championship during his brief reign, with many fans believing his time as the champ has been long overdue.
Now, a big challenge lies ahead of him: but he isn’t going to find out what that challenge is until after 205 Live this evening. WWE announced earlier today that a Six-Pack Challenge will determine the next man to go after the belt at the biggest party of the summer. The participants in the match will be Tony Nese, Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Oney Lorcan, Kalisto and Ariya Daivari.
A #6PackChallenge between @TonyNese @TozawaAkira @GentlemanJackG @_StarDESTROYER @KalistoWWE and @AriyaDaivariWWE will determine @DrewGulak's #SummerSlam opponent TONIGHT on #205Live streaming at 10/9c on @WWENetwork! https://t.co/sEFevcUzN4

It has been 3 years, 5 months, and 16 days (excluding today) since my last chance to capture the Cruiserweight title. Tonight, on #205Live, I plan on fighting half the division to earn a second shot at the championship. Sorry in advance, lads. 🐝👑🇬🇧
