Alexa Bliss And Nikki Cross Win Women’s Tag Team Titles

The IIconics finally defended the WWE Women’s Tga Team Championship on RAW this week. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose and the Kabuki Warriors challenged the champions. The IIconics were the first team eliminated, so the match was guaranteed to produce new champions.

The IIconics ganged up on Rose to start the match and knocked the other two teams off the apron. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce dominated everyone early on. They planted Kairi Sane with a double suplex. Rose finally gained some momentum but Kay dropped her with a hard forearm. Deville droped Royce with a stiff kick to the head. Rose eliminated the IIconics with a knee to the head. Asuka and Rose squared off but Bliss tagged in to face the former SmackDown Women’s Champion. Deville took the fight to Asuka but the Kabuki Warriors ganged up on her to gain the advantage.

Rose floored Asuka with a right hand and double-teamed her with Deville. Rose nearly pinned Asuka with another running knee. Asuka floored Rose with a knee and trapped her in the Asuka Lock and she tapped out. Cross and Bliss worked together to isolate Asuka but the former champion managed to tag Sane, who took the fight to Bliss. Asuka locked Bliss but she reversed it into a pin attempt. Asuka rocked Bliss with a kick but Cross threw Sane off the top rope. Bliss floored Sane with a right hand and hit Twisted Bliss for the win.
