After getting challenged by Will Ospreay to come to New Japan Pro-Wrestling and have a match, the shortly retired Amazing Red is returning to wrestling. The promotion announced today that the indie legend will compete in the Super J-Cup 2019 tournament. They’ve also added two other NJPW mainstays as Yoh and Bushi are joining the fray. This will mark Bushi’s second Super J-Cup, as he was a wild card participant in 2016.
This marks nine total participants confirmed for the field. This includes Caristico, Ryusuke Taguchi, Taiji Ishimori, Dragon Lee, Sho, and TJP.
