The Undertaker is a bonafide WWE legend. Outside of his career’s formative years and a brief run in WCW, he’s been one of the staples of the company. Even in 2019, the so-called Phenom has returned to the WWE ring, forming the short-lived tandem of the Graveyard Dogs with Roman Reigns. Knowing this, it seems almost foolish to think that he’d ever sign with any other promotion, even as WWE sees strong competition for the first time in over a decade.
It is then perhaps unsurprising that The Undertaker has signed a new deal with WWE. what is surprising is that The Undertaker may have signed the last deal of his career. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Undertaker’s new deal with WWE isn’t a lifetime deal, but it’s so long that it might as well be. With Taker flirting with attending Starrcast earlier this year, perhaps the company felt the need to secure one of their most prized legends for as long as humanly possible.
