All Elite Wrestling To Crown First-Ever Women’s Champion On TNT Debut Show

All Elite Wrestling will crown its first women’s champion when they make their television debut on TNT on October 2.

Sports Illustrated is reporting a match will take place on the TNT debut; Brandi Rhodes confirmed the news and offered the following remarks:

“For many female wrestlers, the opportunity to fight for the title represents the crowning achievement of their careers. The AEW women’s championship will be the cornerstone of the women’s division.

The championship will be treated with the utmost respect and prestige. We hope to inspire future female wrestlers to dream of holding such a meaningful title.”

Rhodes also confirmed more details about the match participants and other information would be revealed on next week’s new episode of “The Road to AEW All Out” on YouTube at 8 p.m. ET.
