The road to All Elite Wrestling’s All Out pay-per-view continues, and the company released another episode of its series to commemorate that. In the third episode of the AEW series, Maxell Jacob Friedman starts things off by discussing he and Cody Rhodes’ excellent relationship. While some may call him a “brown-noser,” Friedman denies that, saying he and Rhodes are true friends who hang out regularly. From there, he discusses his distaste for Shawn Spears, which leads us into the next segment. Spears arrives at the AEW offices, where he and Tully Blanchard meet with AEW to sign a contract for Spears and Rhodes to have a match.
While Rhodes makes his way to the contract signing, Blanchard makes it known that he has some demands for their match at All Out. Blanchard’s main stipulation in the contract is to make sure Rhodes only has one person coming down to the ring with him during the match. When Rhodes does finally arrive, he quickly signs the contract without reading it before walking back out, enraging Spears and setting up a big match at All Out.
