AEW TNT Debut News: Chris Jericho Bringing Mystery Partners, Jon Moxley Confirmed To Appear

AEW is in the midst of letting fans know exactly what they’re getting on the first night of AEW television. Already announced is company founder Cody Rhodes will be taking on Sammy Guevara. Sammy previously turned heads at Double or Nothing taking on Kip Sabian in the promotion’s first-ever singles match. That match is now available in full on YouTube.

In another announcement, Chris Jericho has promised that he’s bringing in a pair of ringers to take on Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks on October 2 during AEW’s debut on TNT. Originally posting on Instagram, Jericho states that fans are “not gonna believe” who he’s bringing in for the show.

Finally, AEW has confirmed that their hottest commodity will be on the card for their first show. Jon Moxley will appear, although it doesn’t appear to be in a wrestling capacity. Perhaps Moxley brought some talk show props with him from the asylum?
