TJP Returns To NJPW To Participate In The 2019 Super-J Cup; First Three Entrants Announced

NJPW just announced the first three entrants in the 2o19 Super-J Cup and it includes the recent free agent from WWE TJP as well as SHO & Dragon Lee. Jushin Liger will also be in action during the three upcoming events which will begin a United States stretch on August 22 in Tacoma, WA then August 24 in San Francisco and cap off in Long Beach, CA on August 25. NJPW’s full announcement is below:

The first three entrants in SUPER J-CUP 2019 revealed! SHO, Dragon Lee and TJP will be in the tournament!

Truly representing the international junior heavyweight wrestling festival that is the Super J-Cup, SHO, Dragon Lee and TJP make for an eclectic first three names to announce!

TJP is an international superstar. Starting as a teenager, he has wrestled in rings all over the world for close to 20 years, including in NJPW. Training in the original LA Dojo, TJP competed in New Japan from 2002-2005. Later in 2011 he was part of Best of the Super Juniors 18 where he scored impressive wins over Davey Richards, Jado and Taichi.
