A report published in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that AEW’s recent Fyter Fest event was the second biggest event to ever air on the B/R Live service. Fyter Fest was a free broadcast on the service, only requiring signing up for an account. The only event that bested Fyter Fest’s traffic was a Golf event that had Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson compete head to head this past November.
Fyter Fest was the second ever AEW event. Fight For The Fallen aired two weeks after Fyter Fest. While it didn’t match Fyter Fest’s audience, it did spur more subscriptions to the service. This boost is seen as a net positive and bodes well for the two companies continuing to work together for other AEW events.
