Shane McMahon Accepts Kevin Owens’ Summerslam Challenge, KO & Roman Reigns Teach Shane A Lesson

Shane McMahon Accepts Kevin Owens’ Challenge

The feud between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens has been brewing for weeks, and it came to a head during tonight’s SmackDown Live. After coming out and continuing to call out Owens, McMahon challenged Owens to a match at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam, a match in which McMahon promised to make Owens quit by the end of things.

From the sounds of the match, it seems as if Owens will have to quit if he loses, but no official stipulation has been given yet. However, Owens was quick to come out and accept the challenge, while also sharing his own views on McMahon. According to Owens, he won’t be quitting, and that’s because he’ll “beat the living hell” out of McMahon.

After challenging him to a match tonight, McMahon instead gave Owens a match against Roman Reigns. Unfortunately for Owens, he’ll have to wait until SummerSlam to get a piece of McMahon, but he does seem up for the challenge, and if winning means keeping his place in the WWE, be prepared for a hard-fought contest.

Roman Reigns & Kevin Owens Team Up

After introducing Elias as a special guest time keeper and Drew McIntyre as the special guest referee, things seemed to be going well for McMahon. However, after McIntyre continued to get in between both Reigns and Owens, the pair decided to attack him instead, throwing him out of the ring. After dispatching Elias as well, the pair attempted to go after McMahon, but Elias and McIntyre were able to get back in and help save the day, throwing Owens out of the ring and beating down Reigns.

As Reigns was just about to be taken down by McMahon, however, Owens was able to pull him out of the ring and help Reigns. After once again dispatching both Elias and McIntyre, Owens and Reigns dragged McMahon back into the ring, where they delivered a combination of super punches and stunners to the man. With Owens celebrating in the ring, he delivered one last stunner to McMahon, showing him just what Owens hopes to do at SummerSlam.
