At WWE Extreme Rules, thanks to the interference of the Club, AJ Styles defeated Ricochet and won the United States Championship. On RAW this week, the former champion hoped to get back on track in a six-man tag team match. Ricochet teamed up with the Usos to face Robert Rude and the RAW Tag Team Champions the Revival in a two-out-of-three falls match.  Ricochet and the Usos won the match but the celebration was cut short by an attack from the Club.

Ricochet and the Usos quickly gained the first fall over Scott Dawson. A spinebuster from Robert Roode gave his team the momentum and Dash Wilder grounded Jey Uso. Jimmy tagged in and took control of the match up before the RAW Tag Team Champions ganged up on him. Dawson evened the score with another fall. The Revival continued to dominate Jimmy but Ricochet tagged in and cleared house. Ricochet pinned Roode after a 630 Splash.

After the match, the Club came to ringside and brawled with the match participants. The Usos superkicked the Revival and the Club but Roode helped the RAW Tag Team Champions regain control. Ricochet dove onto all three of his opponents but AJ Styles dropped him with a Phenomenal Forearm. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows hit the former champion with the Magic Killer.
