WWE Announces Number One Contender’s Battle Royal For RAW
UPDATE: Daniel Bryan has been replaced by Sami Zayn on the website. No reason for the change was given by WWE.
WWE has officially announced that a 10-Man Battle Royal will take place tonight on Monday Night RAW, with the winner facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship. Lesnar captured the title last night at Extreme Rules, defeating former champion Seth Rollins – gaining a measure of revenge for his WrestleMania 35 loss in the process. Seth will be part of the Battle Royal this evening alongside Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and Big E.
Women’s Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match Confirmed
In addition to the above match, WWE has announced that a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match will also take place tonight on RAW – with the winner facing Becky Lynch at SummerSlam for the RAW Women’s Championship. The four competitors will be Naomi, Natalya, Alexa Bliss & Carmella.
