The Rock sure holds true to his pro wrestling roots and this past weekend was no different for “The People’s Champion.” Rocky was reflecting back with some of his old matches and one in particular that caught his eye was him competing against Booker T for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship back at WWF SummerSlam 2001. The Rock shared a clip of the match on his social media and went on to praise the five-time (five-time, five-time) WCW Heavyweight Champion, even stating that their was “no one better” at in-ring athleticism than the WWE Hall Of Famer.

Found this gem – of one my favorite @wwe matches.

Me vs @bookertfivex for the WCW Heavyweight World Title.

Booker is such an incredibly gifted beast of an athlete so our wrestling styles complimented each other very well.

There was no one better when it came to pure in ring athleticism and there’s a reason why this man is in the Hall of Fame.

He’s a tough bastard too and after this 35min match I felt like I got hit by a f*cking truck
