Caprice Coleman’s Pulpit with Nick Aldis

  • Aldis addresses the Briscoes’ attack at BITW and says he’ll gladly settle things in the ring. He talks about the last time they (Nick and Caprice) shared the ring, he ended up with a match 15 years in the making with Marty Scurll. Aldis then mentions Summer Supercard in Toronto, and he says he’d love to face Marty Scurll one more time. Scurll comes out to accept… but Aldis says he wasn’t done. He says he’ll defend against anyone in Villain Enterprises, but he’ll let Marty choose. Marty tells Caprice he has plenty to think about and leaves.

Colt Cabana came out to give a health update on his knee when James Storm interrupted. Colt said he’s hurt and already tried to give Storm extra time… and Storm said that’s why he’s here. He says he wants five more minutes and goads Colt into the match after kicking his cane out and shoving him.  Storm works Colt’s knee and Colt can barely stand the whole time, but gets a few shots in. Storm ultimately wins the match after a Backcracker and a half crab submission. Storm then makes Ian Riccaboni announce him as the winner.

NEW NWA National Champion – James Storm

Silas Young defeated Josh Woods

Shinobi Shadow Squad defeated Dante Caballero, Bryan Johnson & ???

Karissa Rivera def Sumie Sakai

  • Quinn McKay tried to interview Rivera, but Sumie asked her to leave, then raised Rivera’s arm and put her over

Rush and Dragon Lee defeated The Briscoes

  • This was a brawl to open and Mark ended up busted open, then Rush bit him and they kept slugging it out. There was one point that saw The Briscoes ‘win’ but it was declared two, and the crowd chanted ‘that was three’. All four went right back to duking it out, then Lee hit an awesome diving hurricanrana on Mark to the floor, followed by Rush hitting his finisher on Jay for the win. Great match.

Lifeblood defeated Villain Enterprises in a Philadelphia Street Fight

  • This had a bunch of great spots, including Bandido hitting PCO with a rolling German suplex onto a chair. The finish saw Marty do the broken finger spot on the turnbuckles, then Bandido feigned doing it too but poked him in the eyes and picked him up, then did a moonsault slam through a table. Fantastic match and great follow up to the previous one. Worth noting this might air sooner despite being taped out of order since Marty’s promo referenced Flip joining them ‘last night’ at BITW. Marty gave Flip the night off since he was the new guy.
