Backstage Details On 24/7 Title Change
Thanks to a report from PWInsider, we’ve learned more about how the Drake Maverick wedding title change came to be. Maverick pitched the idea himself and it was filmed after they had actually been married. NXT writer Joseph Belcastro played the pastor and several wrestlers were actually involved (including EC3, Braun Strowman, Jeremy Borash, and Matt Hardy’s son, Maxel, was the ring bearer). Also in attendance were Tyson Kidd, Natalya and IMPACT star Kiera Hogan.
Congrats to both of the newlyweds!

Drake Maverick’s Wife Wants A ‘Divorce’
Drake Maverick’s bride isn’t upset that her husband is no longer the WWE 24/7 champion, but she is annoyed that he allowed her special day to get ruined by it. Renee Michelle posted the following on Twitter, “I can’t believe he allowed this to affect our wedding day! He is obsessed. The hell with this 24/7 thing. I want a divorce!”
Hopefully they can reconcile their differences on their honeymoon.
