Diamond Dallas Page Wants To See AEW & WWE TV On The Same Night, Talks Undertaker vs. Goldberg

Diamond Dallas Page recently had a great discussion with wrestling journalist Bill Apter. The two discussed his thoughts on All Elite Wrestling, why he won’t take a job there because of him wanting to stay a friend of Cody’s without an agenda, and much more.

Check out some highlights below:

On why he’d love to see AEW and WWE compete on the same night:

I’d love to see them go head-to-head. Only reason I say that is because people can flick [the channel] and make their own decisions. It will make WWE so much tighter. How good did they get when [WCW] was kicking their ass? At first it was back-and-forth, then we started kicking their ass. Then their writing [started improving] and “Stone Cold” came in. [Attitude Era] never happens without us.

His thoughts on Undertaker vs. Goldberg:

I didn’t see it, but I will tell you that I loved the Brock Lesnar-Goldberg match. It was just five minutes. I won’t say anything bad because I didn’t see it, but I will say that when you have two [legends] you don’t have to do much. I heard they went long. Both of those guys don’t have to do another thing ever and they will be cemented as the greats of our business. One match doesn’t make anything.
