In Ring Segment: The New Day
Xavier Woods says Dolph Ziggler is only going to make it to Stomping Grounds if Ziggler makes it through him tonight. Big E. says he proposed that they change the second hour of the show to “The Freaky Hour”. It involves a slip-n-slide but we don’t get to hear what else because Ziggler interrupts. Ziggler tells Kingston he is nothing without the rest of the New Day. Kingston says he is going to win at the PPV and remain the WWW Championship. Ziggler tells Kingston that after tonight Woods will never be able to help Kingston again. It should have been Ziggler and Sunday it will be.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Xavier Woods
Ziggler and Woods trade pin attempts. Woods trips Ziggler into the ropes. Woods dropkicks Ziggler in the back. Ziggler locks Woods in a rear chin lock. Ziggler boots Woods in the corner. Ziggler charges in and runs right into a boot from Woods. Woods lands the Honor Roll. Woods goes up top. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attack Kingston and Big E. from behind. The referee kicks Owens and Zayn out. Woods gets DDT by Ziggler. Woods kicks out. The referee tells Kingston and Big E. they have to leave as well. After the break, Woods lands a roaring elbow. Ziggler kicks out. Woods sends Ziggler to the outside. Wrecking ball dropkick by Woods. Woods sends Ziggler back into the ring. Woods gorilla press slams Ziggler into a gut buster. Ziggler kicks out yet again. Ziggler superkicks Woods off the apron. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag. Ziggler ties Woods in the ropes and superkicks him again for the win.
