After Alexa Bliss let it slip that Bayley had been liking offensive tweets that name dropped Nikki Cross, Cross came out during tonight’s SmackDown Live in a much angrier way than normal. With Bliss escorting her to the ring, Cross gave it her all against the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, but it wasn’t enough to take down the champ.

Although it looked like Cross had a few opportunities to take down Bayley, the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion was not to be denied. Bayley showed off why she’s the champion, countering a few key moves from Cross before knocking her down long enough to get onto the top rope. Staring down at Cross, Bayley made sure to look over at Alexa Bliss before delivering a vicious elbow drop to Cross that ended the match.
