Cody Rhodes Gives Update On ‘Ongoing Situation’ With PAC

Current Dragon Gate champion and former WWE star PAC was set to compete at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing, but the match was scrapped the week prior to the event. Instead, they aired a taped version of the match on YouTube that took place in the UK. Now Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes has cleared the air in an interview with Comicbook.com.

“It’s kind of a current, ongoing situation in terms of creative differences,” said Rhodes. “It’s the term we use, it’s not everyone’s favorite term to hear. But I love PAC, he’s amazing. He’s done a great job post-WWE with what he’s done with Dragon Gate, what he’s done with Rev Pro. And really the only thing I can say about it, because it is an ongoing situation, is that PAC is still part of AEW. It’s something we’re actively working on and making it happen. He’s a big part of AEW.”

Rhodes also said that if fans weren’t satisfied with the taped match they did that PAC vs. Adam Page would happen down the line.
