WWE Superstar Kairi Sane shared a story with the WWE Universe last night after her friend Io Shirai lost to Shayna Baszler on NXT TakeOver: XXV. Kairi revealed that a few months ago she went into anaphylactic shock and had to be taken to the emergency room. Sane went on to say that Io Shirai was right by her side the entire time, holding her hand in the ambulance and sitting directly beside her in the ER to help her through it.
Kairi credits Io for helping her get through it and said she will always be thankful. She ended by saying thanks to Io, Kairi can be the Kairi Sane she is today. Hopefully Kairi is feeling much better now and she can continue her run with Asuka on SmackDown in a quest for the WWE Women’s Tag Championships.
