Jon Moxley Revealed As New Japan Mystery Man In New ‘Time’s Up’ Promo (Video)

The mystery has been solved… Jon Moxley is the mystery man behind the recent ‘Time’s Up’ promos teased by New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Shortly after posting his new AEW ‘declaration’ promo, Moxley posted another new video that revealed he’s the man behind the recent New Japan videos. Moxley posted an update to the original promo, which saw a man sitting at a bar carving an hour glass into the bar with a knife. The teasers have hinted that the person behind these promos was targeting Juice Robinson, along with an ‘arrival date’ on June 5, which is when the Best Of Super Juniors tournament concludes. This time around, new footage reveals the symbol also stood for ‘Mox’, with the M and X being inside the O.

There are no other details about how Moxley might be involved with New Japan, but it is worth noting AEW’s Tony Khan said we could see him working some international and independent dates. During last night’s Double Or Nothing post-show scrum, Khan confirmed Moxley signed a full-time multi-year deal with AEW, and they talked to him about coming over as soon as they could speak with him. It was also noted by Khan that “when the schedule is light, [he was] going to be open about [Moxley] working international and indie dates.”
