New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced that Jushin Liger will be in attendance for it’s G1 Climax show in Dallas, TX come this July. NJPW shared the announcement on Twitter and gave more details on the wrestling legend’s appearance in the Lone Star State on their website:

On July 6, G1 CLIMAX 29 will kick off at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Alongside the four wrestlers who have been announced, Jyushin Thunder Liger is now confirmed for this event! Liger has announced his retirement and final match at Wrestle Kingdom 14, so don’t miss your chance to see him in person!

Liger announced back in March that he’s going to retire after next year’s Wrestle Kingdom and his last noted appearance in the States was at the promotion’s G1 Supercard show at Madison Square Garden during WrestleMania weekend.
