Show is available on NJPWWorld.com.

FIRST MATCH: Bandido & Yota Tsuji vs. Taichi & DOUKI

Solid opener. DOUKI & Bandido give a preview of their 5/19 match, plus Taichi gets to beat up a Young Lion.

Need To Watch Rating: (4.0)

SECOND MATCH: El Phantasmo & Gedo vs. Robbie Eagles & Jado

Four absolute pricks enter, two absolute pricks leave. Bullet Club is starting to feel more like Suzuki-gun in the best ways possible, and ELP and Eagles are set to have a fun match on Sunday.

Need To Watch Rating: (6.5)

THIRD MATCH: Will Ospreay, Juice Robinson & Ren Narita vs. YOH, Rocky Romero & Shota Umino

Shota Umino plays the role of SHO in this fun trios match.

Need To Watch Rating: (5.0)

FOURTH MATCH: Ryusuke Taguchi & Toa Henare vs. BUSHI & Tetsuya Naito

Naito and Henare are developing a fun rivalry even though it never feels like Henare has a snowball’s chance in hell.

Need To Watch Rating: (5.5)

FIFTH MATCH: SHO (0) vs. TAKA Michinoku (0)

Both men desperate to get their first points of the tournament gave this fun match some added drama. SHO has been a show stealer, and TAKA always has entertaining, unique matches.

Need To Watch Rating: (8.0)

SIXTH MATCH: Tiger Mask (4) vs. Marty Scurll (2)

Scurll has never focused more on his opponent’s fingers, despite the fact that Tiger Mask has an injured knee.

Need To Watch Rating: (7.1)

SEVENTH MATCH: Titan (2) vs. Taiji Ishimori (4)

Personal favorite of the night. Both men’s styles are made for this kind of match. Titan is his Lucha/Sabu-hybrid self and Ishimori pulls out all the greatest hits. Most satisfying match of the night.

Need To Watch Rating: (9.0)

EIGHTH MATCH: Dragon Lee (2) vs. Jonathan Gresham (2)

Another smooth-as-silk offering from two of the best in the business. Gresham has a lot to prove in his first Super Jr. tournament, while Dragon Lee is dealing with the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title-sized target on his back.

Need To Watch Rating: (8.7)

MAIN EVENT: Shingo Takagi (4) vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru (0)

Suzuki-gun main event, filled with shenanigans. Shingo is starting to feel like Hulk Hogan, so seeing him go up against a top-notch heel like Kanemaru is a blast. Definitely worth watching along with the Titan/Ishimori match.

Need To Watch Rating: (8.9)
