Fun opening tag match. Jado and Eagles have fantastic chemistry as a team, despite barely teaming together. Narita and Uemura continue to grow in the ring.

SECOND MATCH: Ryusuke Taguchi & Shota Umino vs. Taichi & DOUKI
Taguchi and Taichi are so much fun together, that I hope there’s a NEVER Title bout in their future. DOUKI continues to look more confident, after being thrust in the spotlight in the wake of Desperado’s injury. Umino is..great, what hasn’t been said about Shota?

THIRD MATCH: Will Ospreay, Bandido & Juice Robinson vs. Rocky Romero, YOH & Toa Henare
Juice and Bandido should consider recruiting Ospreay into LIFEBLOOD. Is LIFEBLOOD still a thing?

FOURTH MATCH: BUSHI & Tetsuya Naito vs. El Phantasmo & Gedo
Fun all around. Gedo and Phantasmo are truly cut from the same dick-ish cloth.

FIFTH MATCH: Jonathan Gresham (0) vs. TAKA Michinoku (0)
Gresham and Michinoku have a stellar fight. TAKA has been busting out more of Zack Sabre Jr.’s moves, which is a fun bit of continuity.

SIXTH MATCH: Tiger Mask (2) vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru (0)
Tiger Mask never should’ve brought up his injured knee. Kanemaru struck at it like a shark that smelled blood. Amazing bout from these two veterans.

SEVENTH MATCH: Titan (2) vs. Shingo Takagi (2)
A back & forth clash of styles. Takagi’s hoss-like strength, against Titan’s luchador agility. This is a fun little war.

EIGTH MATCH: Marty Scurll (2) vs. Taiji Ishimori (2)
A truly spectacular match. Ishimori and Scurll could’ve main evented any show with this match. Some seriously thrilling drama towards the end. However it gets needlessly sloppy at points.

MAIN EVENT: Dragon Lee (0) vs. SHO (0)
SHO is already becoming the MVP of this tournament. He gives everything in this battle with the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Much like Takagi vs. Titan, this was a power vs. speed showdown that is emotionally exhausting in the best ways.
