Butch Reed appeared on The Hannibal TV on YouTube to discuss his long history with “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Competing with him in the Florida territories and all throughout the South, Butch remembers that he and Flair “were a real good matchup.” He considers himself lucky to be one of the few who could compete athletically with the 16-time world champion.
Butch also remembers moments outside the ring. When asked if ever went out with Flair, he said they would go “just about every night, whether we were feuding or not.” He also recalls that Ric would set up shots for everyone and have some “good old fun.”
