Bully Ray Discusses Possible WWE Involvement In Jon Moxley

With Dean Ambrose departing from the WWE and now teasing the return of the Jon Moxley character, many are wondering what exactly this means for the future of the superstar. Speaking on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray and David LaGreca discussed why this likely has nothing to do with the WWE, however tiny the chances.

“All of that equity they built up in the Dean Ambrose name would now be gone,” Ray said. “He would be basically starting from Day 1 as a new character. New action figures, new t-shirts, new everything…they have invested entirely too much money.” Ray went on to say that it wouldn’t exactly surprise him if the WWE were the ones behind the character change, especially due to the fact that Vince McMahon is willing to do any and everything.

Ray later went on to say that Ambrose returning to the WWE as Moxley would be a weird transition, especially for someone watching as a fan like he is. “Here’s my problem with the whole situation. If I saw Jon Moxley pop up on WWE TV next week, I wouldn’t have a problem with all the money that was spent and the different road they took me down,” he said. “My problem is, who the hell is he going to work with? Because at the end of the day, if you put a tuxedo on a pig, it’s still a pig. I’m not calling Dean a pig, but it’s the same thing wrapped in a different suit.”

We likely won’t have to wait too long to see what exactly Moxley plans on doing for his wrestling future, but the idea that the WWE could be behind this is an interesting one, however unlikely it may be.
