WWE Stomping Grounds PPV Confirmed For June

WWE has officially renamed the event once known as Backlash. While some thought it may have been canceled due to its proximity to the third Saudia Arabia show, WWE has simply moved it to later in June and given it a new name. WWE Stomping Grounds will take place on June 23 in Tacoma, Washington, followed by a RAW taping in Everett.

The promo video released by Tacoma Dome for the event lists the first-ever meeting in Tacoma of Roman Reigns and Randy Orton as one of the big matches. The two wrestlers have faced off before on WWE TV, most notably at SummerSlam 2014. The card is always subject to change, but this could be a rivalry to look out for in the coming weeks.
