Cody Rhodes Comments On Match Set With Brother Dustin Rhodes At Double Or Nothing

Cody Rhodes has officially made a statement about his match that is scheduled with brother Dustin ‘Goldust’ Rhodes at AEW’s Double or Nothing event on May 25 in Las Vegas. Cody begins the video by saying “I love my brother, I have always loved my brother.” It continues on with him saying “At one point he was my hero.”

Cody says “There are 2 brothers. One does everything right, working hard to keep his family afloat. The other makes conceivably every wrong choice.” He says the notion of brother vs brother is very marketable but not very accurate because this match is realistically generation vs generation. Cody wants to kill the attitude era.

He says he has been compared to the late 90’s for long enough and it is a sham. “Some bra and panties spectacular can’t matchup with what our ladies did on October 1. Or even The Rock as electric as he was, was it really better than what Punk said sitting on that stage?”

Finally, Cody ends by getting emotional and saying “I love my brother”. You can check out the complete video below.
