‘Mr. PEC-Tacular’ Jessie Godderz Returns To Wrestling, Wins OVW Television Championship

Jessie Godderz is back into the pro wrestling fold in a big way as he made an unexpected return to the squared circle last night at an OVW event from Louisville, KY. Godderz hit the ring and picked up a shocking win, defeating Adam Revolver via PEC-Tacular Powerslam to win the OVW Television Championship.

The details of The Big Brother star’s return were sent to WrestleZone:

Former 2x Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champion Mr. PEC-Tacular Jessie Godderz shocked the packed OVW audience at Davis Arena in Louisville, KY tonight by unexpectedly returning — and immediately winning the prestigious OVW TV Title!

The Big Brother Superstar defeated Adam Revolver (with Shannon the Dude) with his PEC-Tacular Powerslam in the center of the ring.

Godderz responded to the win via social media.

Momentum for Godderz’ return to action had been building for months, with many speculating that he was going to join his former BroMans Tag Team partners Robbie E (now Robert Strauss) and DJZ in WWE NXT.

Others thought he was headed to All Elite Wrestling, while still others thought his return to Impact Wrestling was imminent.

In the end though, Godderz saved his dramatic return for his first home, Ohio Valley Wrestling presented by GSN (Gladiator Sports Network), where he is a former 5x Southern Tag Team Champion.

Godderz has been very selective over the last couple of years as to what promotions he’ll work with, and has only been making rare wrestling appearances.

Prior to tonight, Godderz was last seen in another surprise appearance, shocking the world when he showed up during Season 4 of El Rey Network’s Lucha Underground.

He also teamed up for a special Guest Appearance with Luchasaurus (Austin Matelson) as Team Big Brother for Joey Ryan’s Bar Wrestling promotion.

Godderz, of course, was previously a member of the Impact Wrestling roster, where he won Tag Team gold on two occasions, along with his partner Robbie E and their Disc Jockey DJZ, as a member of the Legendary tag team, The BroMans.

Taking into account his 2 Impact Wrestling Titles and 5 previous OVW Southern Tag Titles, Godderz’ OVW TV Championship makes a grand total of 8 wrestling titles that he’s won to date.

Outside of wrestling, Godderz is best known as a pop culture icon for starring on CBS’ Big Brother, as well as for his memorable appearances on CBS’ The Talk, CBS’ The Young and the Restless, ESPN’s CAWL To Arms and Amazon’s New Dogs Old, Tricks and Tainted Dreams. He also released the hit single “The Girl Is With Me” with 98 Degrees Legend Jeff Timmons last October.
