Marty Scurll: ‘I Can Take The NWA Title Places It’s Never Been Before’

With the tension between NIck Aldis and Marty Scurll continuing to expand ahead of their match at the NWA Crockett Cup, Scurll recently took to radio to continue the trash talk.

Speaking to SiriusXM’s Busted Open radio about the upcoming match and Aldis in general, Scurll was adamant that while the history between the two has been that of a brotherly relationship, things are changing. “He loves the idea of portraying this story of he’s the big brother, I’m the little brother, and to be fair to him, that has been the case for a very long time,” Scurll said, before discussing how he “needs” the NWA title to explode onto the scene.

“What happens if you put gasoline on a fire? It gets bigger. [Aldis] loves to put himself ahead…but I think the truth is, Nick’s actually got an insecurity because he knows how big of a star attraction I am, and if I do take that belt from him… I can take the NWA title places it’s never been before… Places Nick can’t do.”

Of course, those are some strong words from Scurll, but it’s clear he truly believes that taking the belt from Aldis will make him an even bigger star, and that Aldis can’t stand the idea of that. Thankfully for fans, we don’t have long to wait to see how this plays out.
