In Ring Segment: Johnny Gargano
Gargano says he has waited a long time for this moment. Gargano says finally he sits here as “Johnny Champion”. The Undisputed Era interrupts. Cole says he beat Gargano at TakeOver. If it was any other match, Cole would be champion right now. The fact is Cole is the uncrowned NXT Champion. Gargano says Cole beat him in the first fall but Gargano made Cole tap out… twice. Gargano says that isn’t just definitive, that is undisputed. Gargano tells Cole to get in the ring. Roderick Strong attacks Gargano from behind. The Undisputed Era beat down Gargano.
Dominik Dijakovic vs. Aaron Frye
Dijakovic obliterates Frye with a roaring bicycle kick for the win.
Winner- Dominik Dijakovic
After the match, Dijakovic challenges Velveteen Dream for a title shot.
NXT Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane
Sane destroys Baszler with a spinning back fist. Sliding D by Sane. Baszler kicks out after the flying kabuki elbow. Baszler gets a near fall after a knee strike. Baszler sends Sane into the corner and lands a bicycle knee for a near fall. Sane surprises Baszler with the interceptor. Running blockbuster by Sane. Sane puts Baszler in the Anchor. Baszler gets to the ropes. Sane goes up top. Sane hits the InSANE Elbow to the back of Baszler’s neck from the second rope. Sane goes back up top. Baszler cuts her off. Baszler tries a gut wrench but Sane fights her off. Sane pushes Baszler into the tree of woe. Double foot stomp by Sane.
Sane tries the flying kabuki elbow but Baszler moves out of the way. Sane elbows the barricade. Baszler bends Sane’s arm in ways that it shouldn’t bend. Baszler hits a gut wrench suplex. Baszler puts Sane in a modified Americana. Sane eventually gets to the ropes. The referee calls for a doctor to check on Sane. Io Shirai runs to ringside to check on Sane. Baszler pulls Sane back into the ring. Baszler is about to stomp on Sane’s elbow. Shirai pushes Baszler off of Sane causing a disqualification.
Winner- Shayna Baszler
After the match, Duke and Shafir hold Shirai as Baszler stomps Sane’s elbow.
