Report: Ring Of Honor Experiencing Changes In The Office

Sean Ross Sapp originally reported via his Fightful Select subscription service that Ring Of Honor is experiencing a significant change in their developmental system and more changes could be on the horizon for the company moving forward.

According to Sapp, Danny Cage of The Monster Factory has left ROH from his position as Operations Manager at the ROH Dojo after signing with the company back in December of 2018. Fightful reports that their sources have told them that Cage had plenty of ideas he wanted to implement in ROH and Future of Honor in regards to production, but that was met with  resistance. Cage is still on good terms with producer Delirious (who is ROH Dojo’s head coach), but Joey Mercury will be taking over the role as Operations Manager.

Also according to Fightful, Joey Mercury and Bully Ray are both gaining influence within ROH and that’s expected to continue as time goes on while Delirious’ creative input has decreased over time. There is reportedly some heat on any people who had involvement with making the “ROH at All In” deal a reality as it cultivated new competition in acquiring talent from the now-growing All Elite Wrestling.
