Bobby Lashley Speaks About Taking On Brock Lesnar: ‘The Fans Want To See It’

Bobby Lashley has been back in the WWE for almost a full year now, and while he’s been crowned Intercontinental Champion – recently losing it at WrestleMania 35 – he says that he’s still excited about fighting, and would love to take on former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

Lashley, who is also signed with Bellator MMA, recently spoke to TMZ Sports (via Fightful) about the possibility of fighting Lesnar, whether it be in an octagon or in a wrestling ring. When asked about giving the fans what they want, Lashley admitted that he did want to take on Lesnar. “I’m not gonna say I wouldn’t win. Of course I would say I’m going to win,” he said. “So if it’s UFC, if it’s Bellator, if it’s WWE, the fans want to see it. I think the fans would love to see us just stand in front of each other. I think the build-up of me and Brock would be huge and then just to be able to go out there and do it. I don’t care.”

Of course, Lashley’s future is currently up in the air, as the superstar lost the Intercontinental Championship to Finn Balor at WrestleMania 35, and will now be looking to make his mark in the ring elsewhere.
