Dana White: Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier ‘Might Not Even Happen’

Brock Lesnar lost the WWE Universal Championship in decisive fashion at WrestleMania 35. This led many onlookers to assume that he already had plans in motion for his next move, which would be returning to the UFC to fight their champion, Daniel Cormier. At the UFC 236 Seasonal Press Conference, Dana White made it clear that this match isn’t a done deal as of yet.

That fight isn’t even in the works. That fight might not even happen first. [Crowd boos] That’s what [Daniel] Cormier said too. We haven’t even talked to Brock. I don’t know if he’ll fight again. We don’t have a date for him right now. [Cormier’s first defense] might be against Stipe [Miocic]. We gotta wait for Cormier [to make a decision]. He’s still not healthy, so once he’s healthy we can [make a decision]. Nothing happened with [Brock], I haven’t talked to him. When Brock Lesnar is ready, he’ll call me.”
